TrackIt uses food logs and related inputs to identify food, determine or estimate serving quantities, retrieve nutrition information, track progress, and provide personalized insights. TrackIt is separate from LifeOS and PracticeOS.
What TrackIt may collect
- Email address and basic account information.
- Food logs, meal descriptions, and serving information.
- Food photos used to identify likely foods and estimate quantities.
- Voice recordings or transcriptions when voice input is used.
- Nutrition values retrieved from food-data sources, calculated totals, and goals.
- Usage information used to improve app reliability and experience.
How TrackIt uses data
- Identify foods and estimate quantities from photos, text, and voice input.
- Match foods to nutrition data from sources such as FatSecret.
- Track meals, daily intake, and progress toward goals.
- Generate personalized insights and coaching suggestions.
- Improve app accuracy, reliability, and user experience.
- Send important account and service updates.
Third-party services
TrackIt may use trusted services to support food identification, nutrition-data lookup, storage, authentication, analytics, and subscriptions.
- OpenAI for food identification, quantity estimation, and interpretation of photo or natural-language inputs.
- FatSecret for food matching and nutrition information.
- Google Firebase for authentication and app reliability diagnostics.
- Supabase for account and data storage.
- Apple for authentication and subscription management.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete food logs.
- You can request account deletion and data deletion.
- You can opt out of marketing communications.
